Singapore foreign domestic workers group mediates between FDWs and employers

Singapore / December 11, 2015

The Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training (FAST) has begun to mediate between disputes involving foreign domestic workers (FDW) and employers.  They have been doing so since this September, but the service is expected to be officially launched in February.

FAST will bring five mediators on board to handle mediation between FDWs and their employers.  These mediators will be given training on both labor laws and foreign domestic workers rights.
