Mediation is Developing Around the World

China / April 4, 2015

In a presentation delivered at a mediation conference organized by the City University of Hong Kong, Tang Houzhi, a founding member and leader in Chinese mediation, discussed the growth and maturing of mediation as a tool for nonconfrontational dispute resolution throughout Asia and the world.

At 90 years of age, Houzhi has spearheaded the mediation movement in China, and his example has inspired countless others in Middle Kingdom and throughout Asia to follow his lead.  Heading numerous organizations, and with decades of teaching at some of the most prestigious universities in the continent, his insight into mediation is not to be missed and makes for an invaluable read.
