Speaking at the Asia-Pacific International Mediation Summit in New Delhi, India, The Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon gave an impassioned and detailed speech outlying the efforts Singapore had undertaken in constructing its mediation programs, and how the lessons learned there could be exported throughout Asia. Menon details how mediation is a fundamentally Asian tradition, and affirms that it is an idea whose time has come for the whole of the pacific region.
